I'm in California hangin' with a bunch of AWESOME relatives. I love these guys. :) :) :) taught Andrew my cousin how to play scales on the sax :) he's so musically talented. Went to the church where Lincoln Bruster leads worship. It was awesome and the pastor was amazing. :) :) Funniest guy i've ever heard. Have the best time in the world here this Valentines Day!

Goths!

When we hear the word "Goth" why do we turn our backs and think oh that's something bad and try to stay away from it and them? Why don't we feel sympathy for them? A person becomes a goth because of hurt and lack of love. We should not turn away from but reach out to them. I have a Friend who is a goth and she has told me more than once she is a goth because she hurts so much and feels that the only way to get someone to notice her is to be like that.

Hip Hop Performance

Hey Everyone! Our first hip hop show is February 24th in the flower building at the gp fairgrounds. You should all come and check it out. It's a free show and there's a highschool youth group to follow.

College Surfing

So right now I'm at Corbin College writing this. :D Zane came here to do the Corbin Experience so Faith and I are tagging along. Last night we got to spend time with Derek and got a tour of OSU. Shveet!!! It had an awesome gym and library. The library had bookshelves that moved. Like hmm...let me see if I can paint you a picture. Imagine all the bookshelves pushed together and then on the end of each bookshelf there is a button that says left and right. You click it and the bookshelves move over to created a hallway in between the ones you wanted. :) I hope that all made sense. Anyways this is fun going around and looking at these two colleges but so far I'm voting to go to OSU.

Speech!!!

I had a fabulous day at the tournament yesterday. Visiting with friends I haven't seen in forever, making new friends, and visiting with friends I see all the time anyways. ;) You all did such a good job and I wish I could have gone to every room and listened to all of the speeches. Congratulations to Ariel Strom for placing 1st. :) That's my best friend for ya lol. I'm so proud of you dear. Sorry I wasn't able to go around the room and say goodbye to everybody before I left. Thank you Will for baring with me and my .... horrible? interesting? beginning? strange? not-so-hot? unable to improvise? .... sax playing. I had fun and I hope to do it next year. I shall continue to practice improvisation ;). Love to all!!!!!!

Energy Boost Please!!!!

Oy Vey this is crazy!!!! I've given all of my energy into hip hop, stretches every day, and ballet show. I can barely do it all. By the end of doing one of the practices I'm just so worn out. I don't know what to do. I'm going to keep going on with my commitments and continue my stretches every day, but I need to figure out a way to gain more energy somehow. Maybe I can steal some from David and Devin :D ;). They are two amazing people that continue to surprise me every time I see them. Over my overly full schedule and depleted energy I'm trying to get some time in to practice my flips and this hip hop dance as much as I can so I won't hurt myself on stage. The joys of being a dancing social butterfly :). I also need to find some time to spend with some of my friends. Oh boy!!!!! hmmm am I working myself too hard??? I hope not. Maybe I should just wait awhile for my body to get used to all of the work I'm putting it through. idk. Well here ya all go, another boring post from the wonderful busy boring life of Jo Bugg, Vixi, Possum, Aivilo Jo.....or any other nickname you all might have for me ;).

Adoption

Being adopted myself I get the inside scoop on personal feelings of adoption. Everyone feels differently about it of course.

I often wonder what it would be like (and you will all have to tell me) to live with people who looked like you, who act like you. Would they understand the way I feel more than the people I'm living with now? Would they communicate the same way I communicate.

I know life would be very different but how different would it be? Would it be better? Would it be worse? I think that some things would be better and others worse.

Do my legal parents understand me as much as my biological parents would?

I sometimes think that my parents are to strict and think what it would be like if I were living with my biological family. Would the rules be the same? Would there be other even more strict rules?

I look around me and see that yes there are other families with parents that aren't as strict with their kids as much as I think my parents are with me, but I also see many families that I think are just way too strict. Does that mean I'm the happy medium?

I don't know. I wish I could figure out something of interest to post on my blog sometime. Why would you all want to read about how an adopted kid feels? If you read this far than you are either bored or a great friend. Either way thank you if you are reading these last sentences.

Well I don't really have anything of interest to post so I'll just let you all know what's new.

So I'm in a hip hop group with Zane, Faith, David, Devin, and Amy. We just had a get together for it last Friday and tonight is our first practice.

Practices for the ballet recital start soon (whenever our music decides to show up).

My grandma is in the hospital. My dad just got back a few days ago from California and he is now planning another trip for next week. I will most likely go with him.

For all of you speechians I am coming to the tournament hopefully on the Saturday.

2010

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! Well, it's 2010 now. Wow, double digits. Who ever thought that time could pass so quickly. I had fun though last night and this morning. Stayed up 'til two. Derek and I decided to be fun and he spiked his hair and I curled mine and put black highlights in it. :D We played mafia and catch phrase and ate and drank and watched a movie and watched the ball drop in time square. Oh it was so much fun. I hope you all had a splendid new years eve and new years morning :D
